Monitors the Performance of Primary Health Care Centers all over Albania

550 observers have started today the monitoring of 550 Primary Health Care Centers.
Tirana, on 16th of October, 2014, 8 a.m. – The Coalition for Free and Fair Elections and Sustainable Democracy (CFFESD) is performing today the monitoring of 550 Primary Health Care Centers (PHCC). The monitoring will continue and be completed throughout the day.
550 observers commenced today at 8 a.m. the national monitoring of 550 health care centers out of 2216 in total in Albania, selected based on Statistical Principles.
The observers will monitor the selected health care centers throughout the day from opening to closing hours. This monitoring will be organized through a questionnaire which is divided in several sections:
1) General data,
2) Administrative data,
3) Personnel data,
4) Data on infrastructure of primary health care centers,
5) Data on equipments used by the selected centers,
6) Data on drugs which should be in store at primary health care centers,
7) Data on the documentation of the centers,
8) Data on the moment of the closing hours of the centers,
9) Questions on patients' satisfaction which will be made to a woman, and to a man who randomly ask to receive the service in primary health care centers.
The PHCC observers are volunteers, residents in the 12 regions of the country, who have been selected by 25 civil society organizations following the agreement signed with (CFFESD).
The observers will provide information in real time to 25 telephone operators and the latter will be stationed in the operations' center located inside the offices of the Gender Alliance for Development Center. Everyone is welcomed to monitor the process.
CFFESD will inform the public on preliminary data from the first section "General Data" in a press conference which will be held in the premises of Rogner Hotel on 16th of October, 2014 at 14.00.
