OBSERVERS DID NOT REVEALED A SINGLE INCIDENT THROUGHOUT THE MONITORING DAY
For immediate release:
Tirana, on 16th of October 2014, at 10 p.m- The monitoring of 550 Primary Health Care Centers (PHCC) finished today at 21.30 in all 550 health centres distributed based on the statistical principles all over Albania.
CFFESD continued its observation of the Health Centers performances throughout the monitoring day. Last reporting period for observers was from 20-21 and was aimed to collect random problems in health centers functioning during one day and closing procedures. CFFESD obtained information from 99.4% of sampled health centers or 547 out of 550 observers.
Missing health centers are proportionally distributed throughout the districts, which allow CFFESD to be confident in its data. In this case, with missing sample units, CFFESD data are reliable within 3.75% margin of error with 95% confidence interval.
Pending further in-depth analysis will continue tomorrow and the day after tomorrow when all the questionnaires will be collected in Tirana.
Key finding for the entire day of observation is that not a single incident or issue of concern occurred during the monitoring day. Moreover, CFFESD was able to obtain information that average number of patients in Key Health centers was 38, while at the satellite health centers number of patients was on average 14. Very important is that huge majority of the health centers closed their operation in accordance with working hours.
CFFESD will organize press conference on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11 AM at Rogner Hotel, Tirana.
Press releases will be announced through social networks and electronic means including the processed graphic data, which will be published on the official website of the CFFESD.
