[Tirana, May 2, 2015]. The Coalition for Free and Fair Elections and for Sustainable
Democracy (CFFESD) is ready to monitor the transparency, peace and justice during the elections for Local Government on 21 June 2015.

Albanian citizens! React, vote, impact! On June 21, 2015 you must to go to the polls and elect the mayors and the members of the municipal councils. This group will represent your interests for the next four years in the municipality where you have chosen to live. These elections are very important. Remember, that for the first time there will be a large number of women in the composites of municipal councils. Follow the candidates during their campaigns and seek solutions to your problems.

Politicians! Include women and girls as candidates for mayor or municipal councils, as stipulated in the Electoral Code!

With this appeal, the CFFESD addresses the political parties, which compete within their own parties and with the political parties that are members of the two coalitions registered in the Central Election Commission. There are only 3 days after the deadline for submission of legal documents for registration of the candidates.

Njoftim për shtyp - KZLN publikon studimin kërkimor “Monitorimi i Shërbimit të Kujdesit Shëndetësor Parësor në Shqipëri”

Tiranë, më 10 Mars 2015 - Koalicioni për Zgjedhje të Lira dhe Demokraci të qendrueshme (KZLN-DQ) paraqiti sot rezultatet e studimit "Monitorimi i Shërbimit të Kujdesit Shëndetësor Parësor në Shqipëri". Në një datë të vetme në 16 tetor 2014, KZLN vëzhgoi 550 Qendra Shëndetësore të Kujdesit Parësor (QSHKP) në Shqipëri. Vëzhgimi u krye në bazë të një pyetësori me 9 seksione dhe sipas parimeve statistikore. Vëzhguesit e angazhuar qëndruan në qendrat e përzgjedhura që nga momenti i hapjes së qendrave shëndetësore sipas orarit zyrtar të tyre dhe raportuan disa herë gjatë ditës lidhur me gjetjet sipas pjesëve të pyetësorit.
Qëllimi i përgjithshëm i këtij projekti është që të ndikojë në përmirësimin e aksesit të qytetarëve shqiptarë për të marrë shërbimin e duhur mjekësor nga njësitë e kujdesit shëndetësor parësor dhe realizimi i një analize të vlefshme mbi funksionimin e qendrave shëndetësore në të gjithë Shqipërinë, tha Mirela Arqimandriti, drejtuese e projektit. Ajo vazhdoi duke thënë se i gjithë studimi shërbeu për të nxjerrë në pah cilat janë pikat e forta dhe të dobëta të qendrave shëndetësore dhe cilat fusha investimi mund të konsiderohen më të efektshme.
Në këtë aktivitet mori pjesë z.Ilir Beqaj, Ministër i Shëndetësisë, i cili theksoi:"Mbulimi universal mbetet sfida kryesore për reformimin e kujdesit shëndetësor dhe, padyshim, zgjerimi dhe forcimi i kujdesit shëndetësor parësor është thelbësor në kapërcimin e barrierave financiare, gjeografike e kulturore".
Ky aktivitet u përshëndet nga z. Donald Lu, Ambasador i Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës në Shqipëri.

Press Release - Submission deadline of local electoral maps and local governing units expires

Tirana, January 27th 2015 – The Coalition for Free Election and Sustainable Democracy reminds today the local governing units, in the conclusion of the deadline and the legal terms for submitting the electoral maps of the polling stations units at the CEC headquarter.

Yesterday expired the legal submission deadline of the electoral maps of the the polling stations units.

As defined in article 62 point 9 of the CEC's Electoral Code and Guidelines, the deadline for submitting the information by the heads of the local governing units was yesterday.

CFE & SD appeals and claims regarding the submission of the electoral maps deadline and also considers fair and in accordance to the laws in power CEC's submission request. Currently, out of 200 local units only 77 have submitted the unit's polling stations map, where irregularities were also noticed.

Meanwhile, less than half of the local governing units have not yet defined the Polling Stations for the June 21st 2015 local elections. The issue which became known to the public by CEC has been identified as a major concern by The Coalition for Free Elections and Sustainable Democracy days ago.
