For immediate release:
The monitoring of 550 Primary Health Care Centers (PHCC) continues all over Albania.
Tirana, on 16th of October 2014, at 4 p.m. – The Coalition for Free and Fair Elections and Sustainable Democracy (CFFESD) continued its observation after the opening of the Health Centers.
Second reporting period was from 12.00-13.00 and was aimed to collect random problems in health centers functioning during one day. CFFESD obtained information from 97.9% of sampled health centers or 540 out of 550 observers. Missing health centers are proportionally distributed throughout the districts, which allow CFFESD to be confident in its data. In this case, with missing sample units, our data are reliable within 3.8% margin of error with 95% confidence interval.
Key finding for this reporting period is that not a single incident or issue of concern occurred during the first part of the monitoring day. Moreover, CFFESD was able to obtain information that average number of patients in Key Health centers until noon was 23, while at the satellite health centers number of patients until noon was on average 9.
CFFESD will keep you informed with further outcomes of the research.
Press releases will be announced through social networks and electronic means including the processed graphic data, which will be published on the official website of the CFFESD.
